Stephen has over thirty years of experience in the mechanical contracting field. He began his career in 1974 working as a pipefitter at Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company. In 1984 he began working for MRl Mechanical Contractors working in the field, but was quickly promoted to project manager and field supervisor. At MRI, Steve supervised such mechanical projects as new plants for Quaker State Oil in California and Kindall Oil in Pennsylvania. In August 1987, Steve moved on to Mechanical Resources, Inc., where he continued as a project manager and field supervisor and later, estimating. In 1993, Steve came to Bay Side Contracting as estimator and project manager where he generates and runs projects as large as 4.3 million dollar. In October of 2001, Steve became a stockholder of BSC and in 2006 he became 55% majority stockholder.

Lisa has 25 years experience in accounting and office management. She graduated in 1982 from Old Dominion University with a degree in Business Management. In April 1996 she came to BSC where with her accounting expertise and office management skills she soon became indispensable. In October 2001, Lisa became a stockholder and as of 2006 became 40% minority stockholder. Along with her duties as accountant and office manager, she sees to all the companies bonding, insurance and financial needs. She also project manages jobs ranging in cost from $100,000 to $1,000,000.

Chris has 20 years of experience in the mechanical contracting business. He started his career in 1987 with Steve Smith Plumbing as a plumber/pipefitter for several years. In 1995 while at Bay Mechanical, Chris was foreman/crew leader on such projects as the Nauticaus Maritime Museum, the eight-story addition to King Daughters Hospital Project, and the Canon Plant in Newport News. Chris came to Bay Side Contracting in 1997 as a project foreman bring with him his past experience in heating, cooling, chill water, hot water, medical air, and plumbing systems. His experience, leadership skills, high quality work ethics and can do attitude have lead to his promotion from project foreman to Vice President and 5% minority stockholder in 2007. He has proven himself with such project as Tabb Middle School Renovations, Tabb Library and New American Theater, Old Dominion University Convocation Center, Hampton Downtown High Rise and Norfolk State University Student Center.
